I am looking into going to Yas Marina this year for F1, has anyone gone and if so, what do the prices look like for race day? Are there places to watch practice/quals without going through the gate like at COTA? Thanks in advance, and here's an RB for your troubles!

I imagine it is like everything else in Abu Dhabi. . . very very expensive!

This is a very good assumption! I think I may have found somewhere that grandstands are ~510 for 2 days and ~570 for three. Which isn't too bad, flight and hotel however is a different story.

I speak Arabic (I'm from the Middle East) so I have a little bit of an advantage haha. If you look for deals, you can definitely find some nice ones. Also, pretty much everything is negotiable. I haggled my hotel price at some fancy Marriot, I haggled every taxi I ever used, and even got a lower price on food because I was wearing a soccer jersey that the vendor was a fan of lol.

If you have lots of money to blow, you can blow all of it. If you have a tighter budget, research research research. You'll find some nice deals but they aren't easy to come upon. I spent a month planning my last trip and ended up spending $4k less than I expected, so it paid off in the end.
